Hi there! I’m Andrew, a lifestyle, portrait, and wedding photographer based in LA and Orange County. I’m passionate about both photography and the people I work with — I genuinely love meeting new couples and families and capturing their unique stories through intentional photographs.
I started my photography business in 2019, working for several newspapers and a non-profit as a photo/video team manager. Since then, I’ve developed a diverse portfolio of work for a wide variety of clients, and I’ve had the unique opportunity to travel all around the United States. You may have seen my work from a local wedding, a DI Men’s Volleyball game, or Oscars and Grammy Award-winning artists!
Whether it’s a holiday gathering with your family, a graduation celebration, or the moment you get engaged, I bring creativity and technical expertise to make sure every moment is beautifully captured. I’d be honored to tell your story through photos you’ll treasure for years to come.
Favorite Photography location: It depends on the shoot! I love shooting just after the sun has set (or right as it's setting) when I'm doing something close to the beach, but I work will in difficult lighting/shadow situations as well. I prefer shooting more towards the evening or morning, but I can make any time of day work. I love shooting families and portraits just after the sun has set. I find that the combination of diffused lighting and backlight from the sunset can be magical contrast while still having a dynamic range that works for post-production. I love shooting in greenery areas (like Gum Grove, Eisenhower park in Seal Beach, listed below) where I can easily add foreground and lush backgrounds to surround my subjects.
Favorite Coffee spot: Coffee Code in La Mirada and Buena Park. My wife's best friend created the famous strawberry latte with coffee ice-cubes that is to die for. Great wifi for getting work done as well!
